All rights reserved. 15Standby modeWhen you have switched on the device, and it is registeredto a network, the device is in the standby mode and readyfor use.To open a list of most recently dialled numbers, press thecall key.To use the voice commands or voice dialling, press and holdthe right selection key.To change the profile, press the power key, and select aprofile.To start a connection to the web, press and hold 0.To select the view for the standby mode, select >Settings > Phone sett. > General > Personalisation >Standby mode > Standby theme.Depending on the selected standby theme, you can selectapplications or events to add to a shortcut list in thestandby mode or the scroll keys. To select the applicationsor events, select > Settings > Phone sett. > General >Personalisation > Standby mode > Shortcuts.Offline profileTo quickly activate the offline profile, press the power key,and select Offline. To leave the offline profile, press thepower key, and select another profile.When the offline profile is active, all the connections to acellular network are turned off. However, you can use yourdevice without a SIM card, and listen to the radio or musicusing the music player. Remember to switch off yourdevice when wireless phone use is prohibited. You can alsouse Bluetooth in the offline profile to connect your deviceto a PC, for example.Important: In the offline profile you cannot makeor receive any calls, or use other features thatrequire cellular network coverage. Calls may stillbe possible to the official emergency numberprogrammed into your device. To make calls, youmust first activate the phone function bychanging profiles. If the device has been locked,enter the lock code.IndicatorsIconsor — The device is connected to a UMTS or GSMnetwork.— HSDPA (network service) in the UMTS network isactivated.— The device is in the offline mode and not connectedto a cellular network.
