These settings are onlyvisible if IM login type is set to Automatic or Auto. in home network.Join and leave an IM groupSelect Menu > Connect. > IM > IM groups.IM groups are only available if supported by the service provider.To join an IM group, scroll to the group on the list, and press the scrollkey. To join an IM group not on the list but whose group ID you know,select Options > Join new group. Enter the group ID, and press the scrollkey.Scroll to a group, select Options > Group and from the followingoptions: Save to save it to IM groups, Delete to delete the group, Viewparticipants to see who is currently joined to the group, and Details tosee the group ID, topic, members, editing rights in the group, andwhether sending private messages is allowed in the group.To leave the IM group, select Options > Leave IM group.Search for IM groups and usersTo search for groups, select Menu > Connect. > IM > IM groups >Options > Search. You can search IM groups by Group name, Topic, orMembers (user ID). To join or save a group that is found in the search,scroll to it, and select Options > Join or Save. If you want to searchagain, select Options > New search.To search for new contacts, select Options > IM contacts > New IMcontact > Search from server. You can search by User's name, User ID,Phone number, and E-mail address. To search again, select Options >New search. To start a conversation with a user that is found, scroll tothe user, and select Options > Open conversation. To save the user tocontacts, select Add to IM contacts. To invite the user to a group, selectSend invitation.
