Do not short-circuit. Accidental short-circuiting can occurwhen a metallic object such as a coin, clip, or pen causesdirect connection of the positive (+) and negative (-)terminals of the battery. (These look like metal strips onthe battery.) This might happen, for example, when youcarry a spare battery in your pocket or purse. Short-circuiting the terminals may damage the battery or theconnecting object.Disposal. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they mayexplode. Dispose of batteries according to localregulations. Please recycle when possible. Do not disposeas household waste.Leak. Do not dismantle, cut, open, crush, bend, puncture,or shred cells or batteries. In the event of a battery leak,prevent battery liquid contact with skin or eyes. If thishappens, flush the affected areas immediately withwater, or seek medical help.Damage. Do not modify, remanufacture, attempt to insertforeign objects into the battery, or immerse or expose itto water or other liquids. Batteries may explode ifdamaged.Correct use. Use the battery only for its intended purpose.Improper battery use may result in a fire, explosion, orother hazard.
