The batteryintended for use with this device is BL-5J. Nokia may makeadditional battery models available for this device. Thisdevice is intended for use when supplied with power fromthe following chargers: AC-8, AC-5. The exact charger modelnumber may vary depending on the type of plug. The plugvariant is identified by one of the following: E, EB, X, AR, U, A,C, or UB.The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds oftimes, but it will eventually wear out. When the talk andstandby times are noticeably shorter than normal, replacethe battery. Use only Nokia approved batteries, and rechargeyour battery only with Nokia approved chargers designatedfor this device. Use of an unapproved battery or charger maypresent a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.If a battery is being used for the first time or if the batteryhas not been used for a prolonged period, it may be necessaryto connect the charger, then disconnect and reconnect it tobegin charging the battery. If the battery is completelydischarged, it may take several minutes before the chargingindicator appears on the display or before any calls can bemade.Always switch the device off and disconnect the chargerbefore removing the battery.Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the devicewhen not in use.
