■ Shared memoryThe phone has two memories. Thefollowing features may share the firstmemory: contacts, text messages, multimedia messages (but noattachments), instant messaging, groups, voice commands, calendar, and to-donotes. The second shared memory is usedby files stored in Gallery, attachments ofmultimedia messages, e-mail, and JavaTMapplications. Use of one or more of thesefeatures may reduce the memoryavailable for the remaining featuressharing memory. For example, savingmany Java applications may use all of theavailable memory. Your device maydisplay a message that the memory is fullwhen you try to use a shared memoryfeature. In this case, delete some of theinformation or entries stored in theshared memory features beforecontinuing. Some of the features, such astext messages, may have a certainamount of memory specially allotted tothem in addition to the memory sharedwith other features.■ EnhancementsA few practical rules about accessoriesand enhancements are as follows:• Keep all accessories andenhancements out of the reach ofsmall children.• When you disconnect the power cordof any accessory or enhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.• Check regularly that enhancementsinstalled in a vehicle are mountedand are operating properly.• Installation of any complex carenhancements must be made byqualified personnel only.Copyright © 2005 Nokia.
