Thepostcard is sent to the serviceprovider using multimediamessaging. The service providerprints the postcard and sends it tothe postal address given with themessage. Multimedia messagingservice must be activated before thisservice can be used.Before you can use the postcardservice you must subscribe to theservice. To check the availability, andcosts, and to subscribe to theservice, contact your networkoperator or service provider.Send a postcardSelect Menu > Messaging > Createmessage > Postcard. Scroll to theeditor fields, enter the name, thepostal address, and the city of therecipient (mandatory editor fields,marked by a *).Scroll to the image field and selectInsert > Open Gallery to insert animage from Gallery or New image toinsert a recent photo; then writeyour greeting text. Select Options tosee the options available. To sendthe postcard, select the graphicalkey or Options > Send.■ Flash messagesFlash messages are text messagesthat are instantly displayed uponreception. Flash messages are notautomatically saved.Write a flash messageSelect Menu > Messaging > Createmessage > Flash message. Enter therecipient’s phone number in the To:field. Scroll down, and write yourmessage in the Message: field. Themaximum length of a flash messageis 70 characters. To insert a blinkingtext into the message, selectOptions > Insert blink character toset a marker. The text behind themarker blinks until a second markeris inserted.Receive a flash messageA received flash message is indicatedwith Message: and a few words fromthe beginning of the message. Toread the message, select Read. Toextract phone numbers, e-mailaddresses, and Web site addressesfrom the current message, selectOptions > Use detail. To save themessage, select Save and the folderin which you want to save it.
