All rights reserved. 35■ My presenceWith the presence service (networkservice), you can share your presencestatus with other users withcompatible devices and access to theservice, such as your family, friends,and colleagues. Presence statusincludes your availability, statusmessage, and personal logo. Otherusers who have access to the serviceand who request your informationare able to see your status. Therequested information is shown inSubscribed names in the viewers’Contacts menu. You can personalizethe information that you want toshare with others and control whocan see your status.Before you can use presence, youmust subscribe to the service. Tocheck the availability and costs, andto subscribe to the service, contactyour network operator or serviceprovider, from whom you alsoreceive your unique ID, password,and the settings for the service. See”Configuration” p. 50.While you are connected to thepresence service, you can use theother functions of the phone, andthe presence service is active in thebackground. You canview the information if it is allowedby the contacts and the network. Toview these subscribed names, scrollthrough the contacts, or use theSubscribed names menu.
