Whenconnecting to any otherdevice, read its user guide orcontact its manufacturer fordetailed instructions andsafety information.1 Connect one end of the cable tothe TTY/TDD device.2 Insert the other end of the cableinto the 2.5-mm headset jack onthe side of your phone.3 At the start screen, select Menu> Settings > Enhancementsettings > TTY/TDD > Use TTY >Yes and press Select.TTY/TDD CALLS• Check with the manufacturer ofthe TTY/TDD device for aconnecting cable that iscompatible with the Nokia 6225phone.• TTY/TDD communicationsdepend on network availability.Check with your service providerfor availability and descriptionof services.MAKE A CALL1 At the start screen, enter thenumber and press the Talk key.2 When the receiving partyanswers, begin typing yourconversation on the TTY/TDD.3 Press the End key to end the call.RECEIVE A CALL1 Make sure the TTY/TDD device isconnected to your phone.2 Press the Talk key to answer thecall, and type your responses onthe TTY/TDD.3 Press the End key to end the call.Music standScroll to the option of your choiceand press Select to enter the option’ssubmenu and modify its settings.Default profile — Choose the profileyou wish to be automaticallyactivated when your phone isconnected to the music stand.Automatic answer — Calls areanswered automatically after onering when the phone is connected.Scroll to On or Off and press Select.Lights — Choose to keep the phonelights always on, or to shut offautomatically after several seconds.Scroll to On or Automatic andpress Select.• SECURITY SETTINGSRestrict callsCall restriction is a Network Service.See “Network services” on page 3 formore information.If your wireless service providerssupports this feature, then you canrestrict the calls your phone canmake and receive.
