If in-vehicle wirelessequipment is improperly installedand the air bag inflates, serious injurycould result.Potentially explosiveenvironmentsSwitch off your device when in anyarea with a potentially explosiveatmosphere and obey all signs andinstructions. Potentially explosiveatmospheres include areas whereyou would normally be advised toturn off your vehicle engine. Sparksin such areas could cause anexplosion or fire resulting in bodilyinjury or even death. Switch off thedevice at refuelling points such asnear gas pumps at service stations.Observe restrictions on the use ofradio equipment in fuel depots,storage, and distribution areas,chemical plants or where blastingoperations are in progress. Areaswith a potentially explosiveatmosphere are often but not alwaysclearly marked. They include belowdeck on boats, chemical transfer orstorage facilities, vehicles usingliquefied petroleum gas (such aspropane or butane), and areas wherethe air contains chemicals orparticles such as grain, dust or metalpowders.FCC regulations prohibit using yourwireless device while in the air. Theuse of wireless telephones in anaircraft may be dangerous to theoperation of the aircraft, disrupt thewireless telephone network, andmay be illegal.Failure to observe these instructionsmay lead to suspension or denial oftelephone services to the offender,legal action, or both.
