Press # for a decimalpoint. Select Options > Add, Subtract,Multiply, Divide, Square, Square root,or Change sign. Enter the secondnumber. For a total, select Equals.To start a new calculation, first selectand hold Clear.Convert currencySelect Menu > Organiser > Calculator.To save the exchange rate, selectOptions > Exchange rate. Select eitherof the displayed options. Enter theexchange rate, press # for a decimalpoint, and select OK. The exchangerate remains in the memory until youreplace it with another one. To performthe currency conversion, enter theamount to be converted, and selectOptions > In domestic or In foreign.Note: When you change basecurrency, you must enter thenew rates because allpreviously set exchange ratesare set to zero.■ Countdown timerSelect Menu > Organiser >Countdown timer. Enter the alarm timein hours, minutes, and seconds, andselect OK. If you wish, write your ownnote text that is displayed when thetime expires. To start the countdowntimer, select Start. To change thecountdown time, select Change time.To stop the timer, select Stop timer.If the alarm time is reached when thephone is in the standby mode, thephone sounds a tone and flashes thenote text if it is set or Countdown timeup. To stop the alarm, press any key.If no key is pressed, the alarmautomatically stops within 30 seconds.To stop the alarm and delete the notetext, select Exit. To restart thecountdown timer, select Restart.
