Battery talk and standby times are estimates only and depend on signalstrength, network conditions, features used, battery age and condition,temperatures to which battery is exposed, use in digital mode, and many otherfactors. The amount of time a device is used for calls will affect its standby time.Likewise, the amount of time that the device is turned on and in the standbymode will affect its talk time.Switch the device on and offTo switch the device on or off, press and hold the power key.If the device prompts for a PIN or a UPIN code, enter the code (displayed as****), and select OK.The device may prompt you to set the time and date. Enter the local time, selectthe time zone of your location in terms of the time difference with respect toGreenwich mean time (GMT), and enter the date.
