12[ 86 ]• COUNTDOWN TIMERYour phone’s countdown timer can be used in a variety of ways.To set the countdown timer:1 Press Menu 12-4 (Extras - Countdown timer).2 Key in the alarm time in hours and minutes and press OK to start thecountdown timer.3 If you like, write a note to be displayed when the time expires, andpress OK.When the timer is running, the indicator is shown when yourphone is in standby mode.If the alarm time is reached when the phone is in standby mode, the phonesounds a tone and flashes the note text you have entered or Countdowntime up. Stop the alarm by pressing OK. If no key is pressed, the alarmstops automatically within 30 seconds. Press OK to erase the note text.To stop the countdown timer or to change the countdown time:1 Press Menu 12-4 (Extras - Countdown timer).2 Select Change time to set the timer again, or Stop timer to stopthe timer.To view the remaining time:1 Press Menu 12-4 (Extras - Countdown timer) to view theremaining time.2 To exit, press Back twice or press .• STOPWATCHYou can measure time, take split times or lap times by using the stopwatch.During timing, the other functions of the phone can be used.Note: Using the stopwatch consumes the battery and the phone'soperating time will be reduced. Be careful not to let it run in thebackground when performing other operations with your phone.
