Up to eight events or recordscan be timed simultaneously.The stop watch accuracy is not the same as that of a professionalinstrument. Therefore, Nokia advises against its use for officialcompetitions or any other event in which a high-precisiondevice would be required to establish exact times.To time a single event, select Menu > Settings & Tools >Tools > Stop Watch > Start. The elapsed time is displayed inh:mm:ss:ms format. To stop or pause the stop watch, selectStop. To resume the stop watch from the stopped time, selectStart again. To reset the stop watch to zero, select Resetwith the watch in stopped mode.To time multiple events, select Menu > Settings & Tools >Tools > Stop Watch > Start. To mark the elapsed time foreach event you are measuring, select Cont. To display theevent times, select View.■ Sounds settingsTo adjust volumes and assign sounds to phone calls andalarms, select Menu > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settingsand from the following options:Master Volume—Use the volume keys or scroll key to changethe volume setting of your phone from High to Low or to AlarmOnly or Vibrate Only, then select OK. To silence the phone, scrolldown, or press and hold the volume down key until All SoundsOff is displayed. To preview the sound level, select Play.Call Sounds—To set ringtones for incoming calls, select CallRingtone. To set the phone to vibrate when a call is received,select Call Vibrate > On.Alert Sounds—Select the alert type (Tone, Vibrate, or Reminder)for an incoming TXT Message, PIX Message, or Voicemail Msg.
