If thekeypad is locked, it unlocks when you receive a call. After the call the lockautomatically reactivates.Note: When Keyguard is on, calls may be possible to dial emergencynumbers (for example, 911 or other official emergency numbers).Key in the emergency number and press the Talk key. The numberis displayed only after you have keyed in its last digit.Lock the keypad (Keyguard)At the start screen, select Menu and press the Star key.Keys locked appears in the display.Unlock the keypadAt the start screen, select Unlock and press the Star key.Keys unlocked appears in the display.• SECURITY LEVELSThe security level determines your access to features when a nonownerSIM card is used. A nonowner SIM card is one (other than the original)that is inserted after you power off the phone.Regardless of the security level selected, calls still may be possible to theofficial emergency number programmed into your phone.
