[ 119 ]Manage phone security11Personal unblocking key (PUK) codesPUK and PUK2 codes are used to restore blocked PIN and PIN2 codes.Both PUK and PUK2 codes are eight characters in length and cannotbe changed. PUK and PUK2 codes must be obtained from yourwireless provider.Important: If you enter an incorrect PUK or PUK2 code 10 times insuccession, the message SIM rejected appears in the display andthe SIM card can no longer be used. You must contact your wirelessprovider for a new SIM card.• USE CALL RESTRICTIONSIf supported by your SIM card, this feature lets you restrict your outgoingcalls to phone numbers included in the list or beginning with the samedigit(s) as an entry in the list.Note: If you turn fixed dialing on and don’t have any numbers inthe fixed dialing list, you can’t make any calls!Note: When calls are restricted, calls may be possible toemergency numbers (for example, 911 or other official emergencynumber).
