Before you attempt to insert orremove a SIM card or memory card, review the following procedures to becomefamiliar with the inside of your phone. For a better understanding of your SIM cardand memory card, see “SIM card” on page 118 and “Memory card” on page 87.“Nokia 6620 phone at a glance” on page v identifies other features on your phone.• REMOVE THE BACK COVERNote: Before removing thephone cover, always switchoff the power and disconnectthe phone from the charger orany other device. Always storeand use the phone with thecover attached.1 To open the cover, with the backof the phone facing you, press thelocking catch in the direction ofthe arrow.2 While pressing the locking catch,slide the back cover off of the phone.3 Remove the battery from the phoneif necessary.Sliding catch: Gently slide the graycatch up and down to open the SIM cardslot and the memory card slot.
