38 Copyright © Nokia 2003• SENDING AND RECEIVING A BUSINESS CARDYou can send and receive a person’s contact information as a business card usingIR or as an over the air (OTA) message if supported by the network.Receiving a business cardTo receive a business card using IR, make sure that your phone is ready to receivedata through its IR port, see “Infrared” on page 88. The user of the other compatiblephone can now send the name and phone number using Infrared.When you have received a business card using IR or as an OTA message, press Show.Press Save to save the business card in the phone’s memory. To discard the businesscard, press Exit and then OK.Note: Business cards are automatically saved to phone memory. Be sure totransfer the information to SIM memory so you can copy the informationto a personal computer or other devices. Also, since the SIM card saves onlythe primary number, consider backing up all of your business card data withPC Suite. See “PC Suite” on page 99.Sending a business cardYou can send a business card using IR or as an OTA message to a compatible phoneor other handheld device which supports the vCard standard.1 To send a business card, search for the name and phone number you want tosend from Contacts, press Details and Options and select Send bus. card.2 To send the business card using IR, select Via infrared.3 Make sure that the other phone or the PC is set up to receive data usingits IR port.4 Press Select.5 Choose Primary number or All details.6 Press Select.A confirmation message appears.To send the business card as an OTA message, select Via text message instep 2.• 1-TOUCH DIALINGActivate 1-touch dialing1 Press Menu, then select Settings, Call settings and 1-touch dialing.2 Scroll to On and press Select.
