If you open the keyboard, theloudspeaker automatically activates.Enter the phone number1 Key in the phone number, including the area code.If you key in an incorrect character, select Clear to delete it. To make a call when thekeyboard is open, key in the phone number using the number keys.For international calls, press the * key twice for the international prefix or, if the keyboardis open, press +. (The + character replaces the international access code.) Then key in thecountry code, the area code (without the leading 0), if necessary, and the phone number.2 Press the Talk key to call the number.3 Press the End key to end the call or to cancel the call attempt.Note: To adjust the volume during a call, move the joystick to the right toincrease the volume or to the left to decrease the volume.For more information, see “Options during a call” on page 21.Use the contact list1 Select Names > Find and select a name from the list.2 Choose a phone number for the contact and press the Talk key.3 Press the End key to end the call or to cancel the call attempt.To search for a name/phone number that you have saved in Contacts, see “Search for acontact” on page 43.Last number redialIn the standby mode, press the Talk key once to access the list of the last 20 numbers youcalled or attempted to call. Scroll to the number or name that you want, and press theSend key to call the number.Call your voice mailboxIn the standby mode when the keyboard is closed, press and hold the 1 key, or press the1 key, then the Talk key. When the keyboard is open, press and hold the correspondingnumber key on the keyboard.If you are prompted to supply a voice mailbox number, key it in and select OK.
