The indicator shows when the predictive text in-put is on. Note that the predictive text input may not be availablefor all display languages. See “Setting predictive text input on/offand selecting dictionary language”on page 39.Quick guide to the predictive text inputIn the predictive text input you only need to press each number keyonce for one letter. The word changes after each keystroke - do notpay any attention to how the word appears on the display beforeyou have keyed in all its characters.For example, to write Nokia when the English dictionary is selected,press:(for n) (for o) (for k) (for i) (for a)- Use for word entry. Press each key only once for oneletter.Press to view the next matching word if the under-lined word is not the one you intended.Spell Press to add a new word to the dictionary. Write theword by using the traditional text input which is in-dicated by .Press once to accept a word and to add a space.Press and hold to enter the number input which isindicated by 123.Press once to change the character case. Upper caseis indicated by ABC, lower case by abc.
