Getting startedInstalling the SIM cardCaution!Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of smallchildren.NoteThe SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged byscratches or bending, so be careful when handling,inserting or removing the cardX Switch off the car’s ignition before inserting the SIM card.X Gently press the catch on theradio unit casing (1) to open andlift the cover (2).X Slide the SIM card holder (3) asshown to unlock it.X Open the SIM card holder bylifting it upwards on one side asdepicted in figure (4).X Carefully insert the SIM card intothe holder (5). Make sure that theSIM card is inserted properly andthat the golden contact area onthe card is facing you.X Push the SIM card holder downinto its original position and lock itinto place by sliding it in thedirection indicated by the arrow.Close the cover of the radio unitand check to make sure it catches. |
