Recorder46X Press .Speak now is displayed.X Say the voice command loudly and clearly.Your car phone plays the voice command and automaticallyperforms the function assigned to it.RecorderThe tape recorder feature allows you torecord pieces of speech, sounds, or anactive phone call. This is especially useful if you need to noteinformation during a call. For example, you can record a nameor a number to be written down later.Warning!Obey all local laws governing recording of calls. Do notuse this feature illegally.You can make up to 10 recordings as long as you do not exceedan overall recording time of three minutes. Each recording issaved together with the running number and the length andtime of the call.New recordings are automatically saved in the memory. Whenthe memory is full, the message No memory to save rec. isdisplayed. To be able to make new tape recordings, you musterase some old ones.NoteYou can easily play your recordings using a voicecommand. Say the voice command, and your car phonestarts to play the last recording. Press to skip to thenext recording.NoteTo use this shortcut, you must assign a voice commandto this function in your car phone. For furtherinformation, see “Voice commands” on page 44.RecordThis option allows pieces of speech to be recorded andautomatically saves the recording.To make a recording:X With the display in standby, press .X Scroll to Recorder, and press .X Scroll to Record, and press .X To stop the recording, press .You can also use this feature during a call in progress.X Press and hold to begin recording.X To end the recording, press .All tape recordings are stored and numbered.Two options are available for the recordings: Play and Delete.
