Be aware that the information in this section is subject tochange as the batteries, chargers, and accessories change.This phone is intended for use when supplied with power from theACP-7U (standard travel charger), the ACP-8U (rapid travel charger) orthe LCH-9 (rapid cigarette lighter charger). Other usage could invalidateany approval given to this apparatus and might be dangerous.Warning! When you purchase batteries, chargers, andaccessories for your phone, use only batteries, chargers, andaccessories that have received approval from the phone’smanufacturer. The use of any other type of phone-relatedhardware will invalidate any approval or warranty applying to thephone and could also be dangerous. For availability of approvedbatteries, chargers, and accessories, check with your dealer.• The battery charge indicator will show you when the battery is fullycharged.• When you are not using a charger, disconnect it from the power source.Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for more than a week,since overcharging could shorten its lifespan.• If left unused, a fully charged battery will discharge itself over time.Temperature extremes can affect the ability of your battery to charge.Therefore, allow it to cool down or warm up before trying to charge it.When the battery is running out of power and your phone only has a fewminutes of talk time remaining, a warning tone sounds and the batterylow message appears briefly. When no more talk time is left, a warningtone is sounded and the phone switches itself off.
