AntennaYour device has twointernal antennas.Note: As withany other radiotransmitting device,do not touch either ofthe antennas unnecessarily when the device is switchedon. Contact with the antenna affects call quality and maycause the device to operate at a higher power level thanotherwise needed. Not touching the antenna area duringa phone call optimises the antenna performance and thetalktime of your device.The picture shows the normal position of the device fordata connections and the normal use of the device at theFirst start-upThe first time you switch your device on, you need to setsome basic settings. You can change the settings later.Open the cover and follow the instructions on thecommunicator display.1. Select the language for the device, and press OK.2. Select your home city from the list, and press OK. Youcan browse for a city by starting to type the name ofthe city, or using the joystick or arrow keys. It isimportant to select the correct city, because scheduledcalendar entries that you create can change when thehome city is changed.3. Set the time and date, and press OK.4. Press OK to create your own contact card.5. Enter your contact card information, and press OK.6. Press OK.The default folders, such as C:\My files\ and its subfolders,are created during the first start-up.
