Afterthree consecutive incorrect PIN codeentries, the code is blocked, and you needto use the PUK code to unblock it beforeyou can use the SIM card again.To set the keypad to lock automaticallyafter a defined period, select Phone andSIM card > Keypad autolock period.To set a time-out period after which thedevice is automatically locked and can beused only if the correct lock code isentered, select Phone and SIM card >Phone autolock period. Enter the lengthof the time-out period in minutes, orselect None to deactiveate the autolockfeature. When the device is locked, youcan still answer incoming calls, and callsmay still be possible to the officialemergency number programmed intoyour device.To change the lock code, select Phoneand SIM card > Lock code. The defaultlock code is 12345. Enter the current codeand then the new code twice. The newcode must be 4-255 characters long.Alphanumeric (uppercase and lowercase)characters can be used. The device notifiesyou if the lock code is not properlyformatted.Restore original settingsTo restore the original device settings,select > Settings > Settings andGeneral > Factory settings. To do this,you need your device lock code. Afterresetting, the device may take a longertime to switch on.
