Create a new landmark categoryOn the categories tab, select Options >Edit categories.GPS dataGPS data is designed to provide routeguidance information to a selecteddestination, position information aboutyour current location, and travelinginformation, such as the approximatedistance to the destination andapproximate duration of travel.Select Menu > Applications > Locationand GPS data.Route guidanceRoute guidance shows the straightestroute and the shortest distance to thedestination, measured in a straight line. Itignores any obstacles on the route, suchas buildings and natural obstacles, ordifferences in altitude. Route guidance isactive only when you move. Start theroute guidance outdoors to receive thenecessary information from the satellites.Select Menu > Applications > Locationand GPS data > Navigation.Set your destinationSelect Options > Set destination and alandmark as the destination, or enter thelatitude and longitude coordinates.Clear the destinationSelect Stop navigationRetrieve position informationYou can view the position informationof your current location and an estimateof the accuracy of the location.Select Menu > Applications > Locationand GPS data > Position.Save your current location as alandmarkSelect Options > Save position.Landmarks can be used in othercompatible applications and transferredbetween compatible devices.Trip meterWith the trip meter, you can calculatethe distance, speed, and time of your trip.Use the trip meter outdoors to receive abetter GPS signal.Select Menu > Applications > Locationand GPS data > Trip distance.Start calculating the trip distanceSelect Options > Start. The calculatedvalues remain on the display.Start a new calculationSelect Options > Reset. This sets the tripdistance and time and average andmaximum speeds to zero.Set the odometer and total time tozeroSelect Options > Restart.The trip meter has limited accuracy, androunding errors may occur.
