Check the size limit of e-mail messages with your serviceprovider. If you attempt to send an e-mail message thatexceeds the size limit of the e-mail server, the message isleft in the Outbox folder, and the device attempts to resendit periodically. Sending an e-mail requires a dataconnection, and continuous attempts to resend the e-mailmay increase your data transfer costs. In the Outbox folder,you can delete such a message, or move it to the Draftsfolder.1. Select New message > Message to send a text ormultimedia message (MMS), Audio message to senda multimedia message that includes one sound clip, orE-mail to send an e-mail message.2. In the To field, press the scroll key to select recipientsor groups from the contacts list, or enter the recipient’sphone number or e-mail address. To add a semicolon(;) that separates the recipients, press *. You can alsocopy and paste the number or address from theclipboard.3. In the subject field, enter the subject of the e-mail. Tochange the fields that are visible, select Options >Message header fields.4. In the message field, write the message. To insert atemplate or note, select Options > Insert content >Insert text > Template or Note.5. To add a media file to a multimedia message, selectOptions > Insert content, the file type or source, andthe desired file. To insert a business card, slide, note,or some other file to the message, select Options >Insert content > Insert other.6. To capture an image or record a video or sound clip fora multimedia message, select Options > Insertcontent > Insert image > New, Insert video clip >New, or Insert sound clip > New.7. To add special characters, press *, and select Moresymbols and a symbol.8. To add a smiley, press *, and select More emoticonsand a smiley.9. To add an attachment to an e-mail, select Options andthe attachment type. E-mail attachments are indicatedby .10. To send the message, select Options > Send, or pressthe call key.Note: The message sent icon or text on your devicescreen does not indicate that the message is received atthe intended destination.Your device supports text messages beyond the limit for asingle message. Longer messages are sent as two or moremessages. Your service provider may charge accordingly.Characters with accents, other marks, or some languageoptions take more space, and limit the number ofcharacters that can be sent in a single message.You may not be able to send video clips that are saved inthe MP4 file format or that exceed the size limit of thewireless network in a multimedia message.Text messages on the SIM cardSelect Menu > Messaging and Options > SIMmessages.Text messages may be stored on your SIM card.
