Tostart voice recognition, press and hold the mute key.The device creates a voice tag for the entries in Contactsand for the functions designated in the Voice commandsapplication. When a voice command is spoken, the devicecompares the spoken words to the voice tag stored in thedevice. Voice commands are not dependent on a speaker’svoice; however, the voice recognition in the device adaptsto the main user’s voice to recognise voice commandsbetter.Make a callA voice tag for a contact is the name or nickname that issaved for the contact in the contacts list.Note: Using voice tags may be difficult in a noisyenvironment or during an emergency, so you should notrely solely upon voice dialling in all circumstances.To listen to a voice tag, select a contact and Options >Voice tag details > Options > Play voice tag.1. To make a call using a voice command, press and holdthe mute key.2. When you hear the tone or see the visual display,clearly say the name saved for the contact.3. The device plays a synthesised voice tag for therecognised contact in the selected device language anddisplays the name. After a time-out period of 1.5seconds, the device dials the number.
