If the other device supports synchronisation, youcan also synchronise data between the other device andyour Nokia E52. Your device notifies you if the other deviceis not compatible.If the other device cannot be switched on without a SIMcard, you can insert your SIM card in it. When the Nokia E52is switched on without a SIM card, the Offline profile isautomatically activated.Transfer contentTo retrieve data from your other device for the first time:1. Select the connection type you want to use to transferthe data. Both devices must support the selectedconnection type.2. Select the device from which you want to transfercontent. You are asked to enter a code on your NokiaE52. Enter a code (1-16 digits), and select OK. Enter thesame code on the other device, and select OK. Thedevices are now paired.For some device models, the Switch application is sentto the other device as a message. To install the Switchapplication on the other device, open the message, andfollow the instructions on the display.3. From your Nokia E52, select the content you want totransfer from the other device.Content is transferred from the memory of the otherdevice to the corresponding location in your Nokia E52.Transfer time depends on the amount of data to betransferred. You can cancel the transfer and continue later.The synchronisation is two-way, and the data in bothdevices is the same. If an item is deleted from eitherdevice, it is deleted from the other device whensynchronising; you cannot restore deleted items bysynchronising.To view the log of the last transfer, select a shortcut in themain view and Options > View log.Set up your e-mailYour Nokia Eseries device works the same hours as you,and at the same speed.
