Tip: If you have sent data using Bluetoothbefore, a list of the previous search resultsis displayed. To search for more Bluetoothdevices, select More devices.2. Select the device with which you want to pair, andenter the passcode. The same passcode must beentered to the other device as well.3. Select Yes to make the connection between yourdevice and the other device automatic or No toconfirm the connection manually every time aconnection attempt is made. After pairing, thedevice is saved to the paired devices page.To give a nickname to a paired device that is onlydisplayed in your device, scroll to the device with whichyou have paired, and select Options > Assign shortname.To delete a pairing, select the device whose pairing youwant to delete and Options > Delete. To delete allpairings, select Options > Delete all.Tip: If you are currently connected to a deviceand cancel the pairing with that device, pairingis removed immediately, and the connection isswitched off.Authorize a deviceIf you trust a paired device, you can allow it to connectautomatically to your device. You can select from thefollowing options:• Set as authorised — Connections between yourdevice and the other device can be made withoutyour knowledge. No separate acceptance orauthorization is needed. Use this status for your owndevices, such as your compatible headset or PC, ordevices that belong to someone you trust.• Set as unauthorised — Connection requests fromthe other device must be accepted separately everytime.Receive dataIf you want to receive data using Bluetooth, selectBluetooth > On and My phone's visibility > Shown toall. When you receive data through Bluetoothconnectivity, a tone sounds, and you are asked if youwant to accept the message. If you accept, the messageis placed in the Inbox folder in Messag.Tip: You can access the files in the device or onthe memory card using a compatible accessorythat supports the File Transfer Profile Clientservice (for example, a laptop computer).SIM access profileWhen the wireless device is in the remote SIM mode,you can only use a compatible connected enhancement,such as a car kit, to make or receive calls. Your wirelessdevice will not make any calls, except to the emergencynumbers programmed into your device, while in thismode. To make calls from your device, you must firstleave the remote SIM mode. If the device has beenlocked, enter the code to unlock it first.With the SIM access profile, you can access the SIM cardof your device from a compatible car kit device.
