Clear the cacheA cache is a memory location that is used to store datatemporarily. If you have tried to access or have accessedconfidential information requiring passwords, emptythe cache after each use. The information or servicesyou have accessed are stored in the cache.To clear the cache, select Options > Advanced options >Clear cache.News feeds and blogsSelect Menu > Web > Web feeds.Feeds are xml files in various Web pages that usuallycontain headlines and articles, often about recent newsor other topics. You can subscribe to interesting feedson Web pages. Select Options > Subscribe.Tip: Blog is a shortening of Weblog, which is acontinuously updated Web diary . Often theauthor's personality is an important factor inthe blog.To download a feed or blog, scroll to it, and press thescroll key.To add a feed or blog, select Options > Manage feed >New feed, and enter the information.To edit a feed or blog, scroll to a feed, select Options >Manage feed > Edit, and modify the information.Web settingsSelect Menu > Web > Options > Settings.Define the following settings:• Access point — Scroll to the access point to connectto Web pages, and press the scroll key.• Load imgs. & sounds — Select No to load pages fasterwhen browsing by not loading the images on them.• Default encoding — Select the correct characterencoding for your language.• Auto. bookmarks — Select On to save Web pageaddresses that you visit automatically in the Auto.bookmarks folder. To hide the folder, select Hidefolder.• Screen size — Select Full screen to use the wholedisplay area for viewing Web pages. You can pressthe left selection key to open Options and use theavailable options while browsing in full screenmode.• Homepage — Select the page that you want toappear as your homepage. Select Default to use theaccess point homepage, User defined to enter thehomepage address, or Use current page to use thecurrently open Web page.• Mini map — Select whether you want to see anoverview of the page as a miniature on top of thepage you are viewing.• History list — Select whether you want to seeminiatures of the pages you have visited when youwant to go back in your browsing history.• Cookies — Select to allow or reject the sending andreceiving of cookies.
