Select Alwaysautomatic to receive multimedia messages alwaysautomatically, Auto in home netw. to receivenotification of a new multimedia message that you canretrieve from the message center (for example, whenyou are traveling abroad and are outside your homenetwork), Manual to retrieve multimedia messagesfrom the message center manually, or Off to preventreceipt of any multimedia messages. Automaticretrieval may not be supported in all regions.• Allow anonymous msgs. — Receive messages fromunknown senders.• Receive ads — Receive messages defined asadvertisements.• Receive reports — Request for delivery and readreports of sent messages (network service). Receivinga delivery report of a multimedia message that hasbeen sent to an e-mail address may not be possible.• Deny report sending — Select Yes to not send deliveryreports from your device for received multimediamessages.• Message validity — Select how long the messagingcenter tries to send the message (network service). Ifthe recipient of a message cannot be reached withinthe validity period, the message is removed from themultimedia messaging center. Maximum time is themaximum amount of time allowed by the network.The device requires network support to indicate that asent message has been received or read. Depending on thenetwork and other circumstances, this information maynot always be reliable.Service message settingsSelect Menu > Messaging and Options > Settings >Service message.To allow your device to receive service messages from yourservice provider, select Service messages > On.To select how to download services and service messagecontent, select Download messages > Automaticallyor Manually.
