Theexistence of a certificate does not offer any protection byitself; the certificate manager must contain correct,authentic, or trusted certificates for increased security tobe available. Certificates have a restricted lifetime. If"Expired certificate" or "Certificate not valid yet" is shown,even if the certificate should be valid, check that thecurrent date and time in your device are correct.Before changing any certificate settings, you must makesure that you really trust the owner of the certificate andthat the certificate really belongs to the listed owner.Web settingsSelect Menu > Internet > Web and Options >Settings and from the following:General settings• Access point — Change the default access point. Someor all access points may be preset for your device byyour service provider. You may not be able to change,create, edit, or remove them.• Homepage — Define the homepage.• Mini map — Turn Mini Map on or off. Mini Map helpswith web page navigation.• History list — If you select On, while browsing, to seea list of the pages you have visited during the currentsession, select Back.• Security warnings — Hide or show securitynotifications.• Java/ECMA script — Enable or disable the use ofscripts.• Java/ECMA script errors — Select whether you wantto receive script notifications.Page settings• Load content — Select whether you want to loadimages and other objects while browsing. If you selectText only, to load images or objects later duringbrowsing, select Options > Display options > Loadimages.• Default encoding — If text characters are not showncorrectly, you can select another encoding according tothe language for the current page.• Block pop-ups — Allow or block automatic opening ofdifferent pop-ups while browsing.• Automatic reload — Select whether you want the webpages to be refreshed automatically while browsing.• Font size — Define the font size that is used for webpages.Privacy settings• Recently visited pages — Enable or disable automaticbookmark collecting. If you want to continue saving theaddresses of the visited web pages into the Recentlyvisited pages folder, but hide the folder from thebookmarks view, select Hide folder.• Form data saving — Select whether you want thepassword data or data you enter on different forms ona web page to be saved and used the next time youopen the page.• Cookies — Enable or disable the receiving and sendingof cookies.Web feed settings• Acc. point for auto-update — Select the desiredaccess point for updating.
