Predictive text inputTo activate predictive text input, select Options > Inputoptions > Activate prediction. The indicator isdisplayed. When you start writing a word, your devicesuggests possible words. When the correct word is found,scroll right to confirm it. While writing, you can also scrolldown to access a list of suggested words. If the desiredword is on the list, select the word. If the word you arewriting is not in the dictionary of the device, the devicesuggests a possible word, while the word you werewriting is shown above the suggested word. Scroll up toselect your word. The word is added to the dictionarywhen you start writing the next word.To deactivate predictive text input, select Options >Input options > Deactivate prediction.To define the settings for text input, select Options >Input options > Settings.To change the writing language, select Options > Inputoptions > Writing language.Transfer contentYou can use the Switch application to copy content suchas phone numbers, addresses, calendar items, and imagesfrom your previous Nokia device to your device.The type of content that can be transferred depends onthe model of the device from which you want to transfercontent. If that device supports synchronisation, you canalso synchronise data between the devices. Your devicenotifies you if the other device is not compatible.If the other device cannot be switched on without a SIMcard, you can insert your SIM card in it. When your deviceis switched on without a SIM card, the Offline profile isautomatically activated, and transfer can be done.Transfer content for the first time1. To retrieve data from the other device for the first time,on your device, select Phone switch in the Welcomeapplication, or select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Switch.2. Select the connection type you want to use to transferthe data. Both devices must support the selectedconnection type.3. If you select Bluetooth connectivity as the connectiontype, connect the two devices. To have your devicesearch for devices with Bluetooth connectivity, selectContinue. Select the device from which you want totransfer content. You are asked to enter a code on yourdevice. Enter a code (1-16 digits), and select OK. Enterthe same code on the other device, and select OK. Thedevices are now paired.Some earlier Nokia devices may not have the Switchapplication. In this case, the Switch application is sentto the other device as a message. To install the Switchapplication on the other device, open the message, andfollow the instructions on the display.4. On your device, select the content you want to transferfrom the other device.When the transfer has started, you can cancel it andcontinue later.Content is transferred from the memory of the otherdevice to the corresponding location in your device.
