The menu is a startingpoint from which you canopen all applications inthe device or on a memorycard.The menu containsapplications and folders,which are groups ofsimilar applications. Allapplications you install inthe device yourself are bydefault saved in the Applications folder.To open an application, select the application, that is, scrollto it, and press the scroll key.To switch between the open applications, press and hold thehome key, and select an application. Leaving applicationsrunning in the background increases the demand on batterypower and reduces the battery life.Select Options and from the following:• Change Menu view — View applications in a list or a grid.• Memory details — View the memory consumption ofdifferent applications and data stored on the device ormemory card and to check the amount of free memory.• New folder — Create a new folder.• Rename — Rename a new folder.• Move — Rearrange the folder. Scroll to the applicationyou want to move, and select Move. A check mark is placedbeside the application. Scroll to a new location and selectOK.• Move to folder — Move an application to a differentfolder. Scroll to the application you want to move, andselect Move to folder, the new folder, and OK.• Download applications — Download applications fromthe web.Display indicatorsThe device is being used in a UMTS network (networkservice).The battery charge level. The higher the bar, thestronger the charge in the battery.You have one or more unread messages in the Inboxfolder in Messaging.You have received new e-mail in the remotemailbox.There are messages waiting to be sent in the Outboxfolder in Messaging.You have one or more missed phone calls.The keys of the device are locked.An alarm is active.Nokia E75 - The basics© 2008 Nokia.
