To add access points to an access point group, selectthe group and Options > New access point. To copyan existing access point from another group, select thegroup, an existing access point, and Options >Organise > Copy to other dest..To change the priority order of access points within agroup, select an access point and Options >Organise > Change priority.Packet data access pointsPress , and select Tools > Settings >Connection > Destinations > New access point,and follow the instructions on the screen. Or, open oneof the access point groups, select an access pointmarked with , and select Edit.Follow the instructions from your service provider.Select from the following:● Access point name — You obtain the access pointname from your service provider.● User name — The user name may be needed tomake a data connection, and is usually provided bythe service provider.● Prompt password — If you must enter thepassword every time you log in to a server, or if youdo not want to save your password in the device,select Yes.● Password — A password may be needed to makea data connection and is usually provided by theservice provider.● Authentication — Select Secure to always sendyour password encrypted or Normal to send yourpassword encrypted when possible.● Homepage — Depending on the access point youare setting up, enter the web address or the addressof the multimedia message centre.Select Options > Advanced settings and from thefollowing:● Network type — Select the internet protocol typeto transfer data to and from your device. The othersettings depend on the selected network type.● Phone IP address (for IPv4 only) — Enter the IPaddress of your device.● DNS addresses — Enter the IP addresses of theprimary and secondary DNS servers, if required byyour service provider.
