If your device has foundsatellites, a bar for eachsatellite is displayed in thesatellite information view.The longer the bar, thestronger the satellite signal is.When your device hasreceived enough data from the satellite signal tocalculate the coordinates of your location, the barcolour changes.Initially, your device must receive signals from at leastfour satellites to be able to calculate the coordinatesof your location. When the initial calculation has beenmade, it may be possible to continue calculating thecoordinates of your location with three satellites.However, the accuracy is generally better when moresatellites are found.Position requestsYou may receive a request from a network service toreceive your position information. Service providersmay offer information about local topics, such asweather or traffic conditions, based on the location ofyour device.When you receive a position request, the service thatis making the request is displayed. Select Accept toallow your position information to be sent or Reject todeny the request.LandmarksWith Landmarks, you can save the position informationof specific locations in your device. You can sort thesaved locations into different categories, such asbusiness, and add other information to them, such asaddresses. You can use your saved landmarks incompatible applications, such as GPS data.Select Menu > Applications > Landmarks.The coordinates in the GPS are expressed using theinternational WGS-84 coordinate system.Select Options and from the following:● New landmark — Create a new landmark. To makea positioning request for your current location,select Current position. To select the location fromthe map, select Select from map. To enter theposition information manually, select Entermanually.● Edit — Edit or add information to a saved landmark(for example, a street address).● Add to category — Add a landmark to a categoryin Landmarks. Select each category to which youwant to add the landmark.● Send — Send one or several landmarks to acompatible device.
