Formore information about the enhanced voice commandssupported by your device, see ‘Voice dialling’, p. 33.To activate enhanced voice commands for startingapplications or profiles, you must open the Voice comms.application and its Profiles folder. Press , and selectTools > Voice cm. > Profiles. The device creates voicecommands for the applications and profiles. You can nowuse enhanced voice commands by pressing and holding theright selection key ( ) and saying a voice command inthe standby mode. The voice command is the name of theapplication or profile displayed in the list.To add more applications to the list, select Options > Newapplication. To add a second voice command that can beused to start the application, scroll to it, select Options >Change command, and enter the new voice command astext. Avoid very short names, abbreviations, and acronyms.To change voice command settings, select Options >Settings. To switch off the synthesiser that playsrecognised voice tags and commands in the selecteddevice language, select Synthesiser > Off. To reset voicerecognition learning, for example, when the main user ofthe device has changed, select Reset voice adapts..Application managerPress , and select Tools > App. mgr.. You can installtwo types of applications and software to your device:• J2ME™ applications based on Java™ technology withthe extension .jad or .jar ( ).• Other applications and software suitable for theSymbian operating system ( ). The installation fileshave the .sis extension. Only install softwarespecifically designed for your Nokia N91. Softwareproviders will often refer to the official model numberof this product: the Nokia N91-1.Installation files may be transferred to your device from acompatible PC, downloaded during browsing, or sent toyou in a multimedia message, as an e-mail attachment, orusing Bluetooth connectivity. You can use NokiaApplication Installer in Nokia PC Suite to install anapplication to your device. If you use Microsoft WindowsExplorer to transfer a file, save the file to the hard drive ofyour device (local disk).Example: If you have received the installation file asan e-mail attachment, go to your mailbox, open thee-mail, open the attachments view, scroll to theinstallation file, and press the joystick to startinstallation.
