All rights reserved.Charge the battery1 Connect a compatiblecharger to a walloutlet.2 Connect the powercord to the device.The battery indicatorbar starts scrolling. The device can be used whilecharging. If the battery is completely discharged, it maytake a few minutes before the charging indicatoris shown.3 When the battery is fully charged, the bar stopsscrolling. Disconnect the charger, first from the device,then from the wall outlet.Tip! You can also use the desk stand to charge thebattery: Connect the charger to a wall outlet,connect the power cord to the deskstand, and placeyour Nokia N91 device on the deskstand.Switch the device on1 Press and hold the power key ( ) on top of the device.2 If the device asks for a (U)PIN code or lock code, enterit, and press ( ). The factory setting for the lockcode is 12345.3 To open the menu, press the menu key on the rightside of the device. To access music functions,press Music access key.Your device has two internal antennas.Note: As with any other radiotransmitting device, do nottouch either of the antennasunnecessarily when the deviceis switched on. Contact withthe antenna affects call qualityand may cause the device tooperate at a higher power levelthan otherwise needed.Not touching the antenna areaduring a phone call optimizesthe antenna performance andthe battery life.When you switch on the device for the first time, it may askyou to set the following information: Select current city:,Time:, and Date:. Use the joystick and the number keys. Tofind the city, enter the first letters of the city name. Thecity you select also defines the time zone for the clock inyour device.
