Compatible devicesmay include mobile phones, computers, and enhancementssuch as headsets and car kits. You can use Bluetoothconnectivity to send images, video clips, music and soundclips, and notes; connect wirelessly to your compatible PC(for example, to transfer files).Since devices with Bluetooth technology communicateusing radio waves, your device and the other device do notneed to be in direct line-of-sight. The two devices onlyneed to be within 10 meters (33 feet) of each other,although the connection may be subject to interferencefrom obstructions such as walls or from other electronicdevices.This device is compliant with Bluetooth Specification 1.2supporting the following profiles: Basic Printing Profile,Generic Access Profile, Serial Port Profile, Dial-upNetworking Profile, Headset Profile, Handsfree Profile,Generic Object Exchange Profile, Object Push Profile,File Transfer Profile, Basic Imaging Profile, and SIM Accessprofile. To ensure interoperability between other devicessupporting Bluetooth technology, use Nokia approvedenhancements for this model. Check with themanufacturers of other devices to determine theircompatibility with this device.Glossary: A profile corresponds to a service or afunction, and defines how different devices connect.For example, the Handsfree Profile is used betweenthe handsfree device and the phone. For devices tobe compatible, they must support the same profiles.There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth technology insome locations. Check with your local authorities or serviceprovider.Features using Bluetooth technology, or allowing suchfeatures to run in the background while using otherfeatures, increase the demand on battery power andreduce the battery life.When the device is locked, you cannot use Bluetoothconnectivity.
