9Network servicesTo use the phone you must have service from a wirelessservice provider. Many of the features require specialnetwork features. These features are not available on allnetworks; other networks may require that you makespecific arrangements with your service provider beforeyou can use the network services. Your service provider cangive you instructions and explain what charges will apply.Some networks may have limitations that affect how youcan use network services. For instance, some networks maynot support all language-dependent characters andservices.Your service provider may have requested that certainfeatures be disabled or not activated in your device. If so,these features will not appear on your device menu. Yourdevice may also have a special configuration such aschanges in menu names, menu order, and icons. Contactyour service provider for more information.This device supports WAP 2.0 protocols (HTTP and SSL) thatrun on TCP/IP protocols. Some features of this device, suchas MMS, browsing, e-mail, and content downloading usingthe browser or over MMS, require network support forthese technologies.For availability and information on using SIM card services,contact your SIM card vendor. This may be the serviceprovider or other vendor.Enhancements, batteries, andchargersAlways switch the device off and disconnect the chargerbefore removing the battery.Check the model number of any charger before use withthis device. This device is intended for use when suppliedwith power from an AC-3 or AC-4 charger and from anAC-5 charger when used with a CA-44 charger adapter.The battery intended for use with this device is BP-5L.Warning: Use only batteries, chargers, andenhancements approved by Nokia for use with thisparticular model.
