Contacts (phonebook)To open Contacts, select Menu > Contacts.You can save and update contact information, such asphone numbers, home addresses, or e-mail addresses ofyour contacts. You can add a personal ringing tone or athumbnail image to a contact. You can also create contactgroups, which allow you to send text messages or e-mailto many recipients at the same time.Save and edit names and numbersSelect Menu > Contacts.Add a new contact to the contacts list1 Select .2 Select a field to enter information. To close the textinput, select . Fill in the appropriate fields, andselect Done.Edit contactsSelect a contact and Options > Edit.Contacts toolbarOn the contacts list toolbar, select from the following:Call — Call the desired contact.Create message — Send a message to the desiredcontact.New contact — Create a new contact.Manage names and numbersTo copy or delete a contact, or to send a contact as abusiness card to another device, tap and hold a contact,and select Add to favourites, Edit, or Send businesscard.To delete several contacts at the same time, selectOptions > Mark/Unmark to mark the desired contacts,and to delete, select Options > Delete.To listen to the voice tag assigned to a contact, select thecontact and Options > Voice tag details > Options >Play voice tag.Before using voice tags, note the following:• Voice tags are not language-dependent. They aredependent on the speaker's voice.• You must say the name exactly as you said it when yourecorded it.• Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Recordvoice tags and use them in a quiet environment.• Very short names are not accepted. Use long names,and avoid similar names for different numbers.Note: Using voice tags may be difficult in a noisyenvironment or during an emergency, so you should notrely solely upon voice dialling in all circumstances.Default numbers and addressesYou can assign default numbers or addresses to a contact.If a contact has several numbers or addresses, you caneasily call or send a message to a certain number oraddress.
