The settings for user name, password, access point,security, and port are similar to the ones in incoming e-mail.User settingsSelect Menu > Messaging and Options > Settings > E-mail > Mailboxes, a mailbox, and User settings.Select from the following:My name — Enter your own name. Your name replacesyour e-mail address in the recipient’s device if therecipient’s device supports this function.Send message — Define how e-mail is sent from yourdevice. Select Immediately for the device to connect tothe mailbox when you select Send message. If you selectDuring next conn., e-mail is sent when the connection tothe remote mailbox is available.Send copy to self — Select whether you want to send acopy of the e-mail to your own mailbox.Include signature — Select whether you want to attacha signature to your e-mails.New e-mail alerts — Select whether you want to receivethe new e-mail indications (a tone, a note, and a mailindicator) when new e-mail is received.E-mail deletion — Select whether you want to delete e-mails from phone only, from phone and server, or to beasked each time separately.Reply-to address — Define an e-mail address to whichreplies to e-mails sent from the mailbox in question aredelivered.Retrieval settingsSelect Menu > Messaging and Options > Settings > E-mail > Mailboxes, a mailbox, and Retrieval settings.Select from the following:E-mail retrieval — Define which parts of the e-mail areretrieved: Headers only, Size limit (POP3), or Msgs. &attachments (POP3).Retrieval amount — Define how many new e-mailmessages are retrieved to the mailbox.IMAP4 folder path (for IMAP4 only) — Define the folderpath for folders to be subscribed.Folder subscriptions (for IMAP4 only) — Subscribe toother folders in the remote mailbox, and retrieve contentfrom those folders.Automatic retrieval settingsSelect Menu > Messaging and Options > Settings > E-mail > Mailboxes, a mailbox, and Automatic retrieval.Select from the following:E-mail notifications — To automatically retrieve theheaders to your device when you receive new e-mail inyour remote mailbox, select Auto-update or Only inhome netw.E-mail retrieval — To automatically retrieve the headersof new e-mail from your remote mailbox at defined times,select Enabled or Only in home netw.
