Tip: To avoid rewriting messages that you send often, usesaved messages in the Templates folder in My folders. You canalso create and save your own templates.Messaging contains the following folders:Inbox — Received messages, except e-mail and cellbroadcast messages.My folders — Organise your messages into folders.Drafts — Draft messages that have not been sent.Sent — The last messages that have been sent, excludingmessages sent using Bluetooth connectivity. You can definethe number of messages that can be saved in this folder.Outbox — Messages waiting to be sent are temporarilystored in the Outbox folder, for example, when your deviceis outside network coverage.Delivery reports — Request the network to send you adelivery report of the text messages and multimediamessages you have sent (network service).Write and send messagesSelect Menu > Messaging.Messaging is a network service.Important: Exercise caution when opening messages.Messages may contain malicious software or otherwise beharmful to your device or PC.Before you can create a multimedia message, you must havethe correct connection settings defined.The wireless network may limit the size of MMS messages. Ifthe inserted picture exceeds this limit, the device may makeit smaller so that it can be sent by MMS.Only devices that have compatible features can receive anddisplay multimedia messages. The appearance of a messagemay vary depending on the receiving device.Send a text or multimedia messageSelect New message.Send an audio messageSelect Options > Create message and the relevant option.Select recipients or groups from the contacts listFrom the toolbar, select .Enter the number manuallyTap the To field.Enter the subject of the multimedia messageEnter the subject in the Subject field. If the Subject field is notvisible, select Options > Message header fields to changethe fields that are visible.Write the messageTap the message field.Add an object to a messageSelect and the relevant type of content.The message type may change to multimedia message basedon the inserted content.© 2010 Nokia.
