If the e-mail message has not beenretrieved and you are offline and select Open, you are asked if you want toretrieve this message from the mailbox.To view e-mail attachments, indicated with , select Options > Attachments.You can retrieve, open, or save attachments in supported formats.Delete e-mail messagesTo delete an e-mail from the device while still retaining it in the remote mailbox,select Options > Delete > Phone only. The e-mail header stays in your device. Toremove the header as well, delete the e-mail message from your remote mailboxfirst, then connect your device to the remote mailbox to update the status.To delete an e-mail from the device and the remote mailbox, select Options >Delete > Phone and server.To cancel deletion of an e-mail from both the device and server, scroll to an e-mailthat has been marked to be deleted during the next connection, and selectOptions > Restore.■ OutboxThe outbox folder is a temporary storage place for messages that are waiting to besent.To access the outbox folder, select Menu > Messaging > Outbox. Messagestatuses are as follows:Sending — The device is sending the message.Waiting or Queued — The device is waiting to send messages or e-mail.Resend at ... — Sending failed. The device tries to send the message again after atime-out period. To retry sending the message immediately, select Options >Send.Deferred — To set documents to be on hold while they are in the outbox folder,scroll to a message that is being sent, and select Options > Defer sending.Failed — The maximum number of sending attempts has been reached.
