(network service).In Messaging, you can create, send, receive, view, edit,and organize text messages, multimedia messages, e-mailmessages, and special text messages containing data.You can also receive Web service messages, cell broadcastmessages, and send service commands. Messages anddata received using Bluetooth connectivity or infrared arereceived in the Inbox folder in Messaging.To create a new message, select New message.Only devices that have compatible features can receiveand display multimedia messages. The appearance of amessage may vary depending on the receiving device.Messaging contains the following folders:Drafts—Draft messages that have not been sent arestored here.Sent—The last 20 messages that have been sent,excluding messages sent using Bluetooth connectivityor infrared, are stored here. To change the number ofmessages to be saved, see “Other settings”, p. 63.Outbox—Messages waiting to be sent are temporarilystored here.Example: Messages are placed in the outbox,for example, when your device is outside networkcoverage. You can also schedule e-mail messages tobe sent the next time you connect to your remotemailbox.
