It is therefore essential tohave owners and personnel involved in the use and operation ofequipment who are careful, competent, trained, and qualified inthe safe operation of the equipment and its proper use. Examplesof hazards are dropping, tipping, or slipping of the load causedprimarily by improper setups, overloading, off-centered loads, andusing equipment for a purpose for which it was not designed.It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure all personnel readthis manual prior to using this device. It is also the responsibility ofthe device owner to keep this manual intact and in a convenientlocation for all to see and read. If the manual is lost or not legible,contact Norco Industries, Inc. for a free replacement. If the operatoris not fluent in English, the product and safety instructions shall beread to and discussed with the operator in the operator’s nativelanguage by the purchaser/owner or his designee, making surethat the operator comprehends its contents.WARRANTYThis product is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. For detailssee the back cover of Norco’s product catalog.IMPORTANT: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATINGWARNING• Consult the vehicle manufacturer for proper lifting locations.• Inspect the bridge before each use. Do not use the bridge if it isdamaged, altered, modified, in poor condition, leaking hydraulicfluid, or unstable due to loose or missing hardware.• Use the bridge only for its intended purpose.• Do not use beyond rated capacity.• Make sure vehicle is in park and the emergency brake is onbefore attempting to raise a vehicle.• The center saddle can only be used to lift one end of thevehicle.• Do not use the center saddle if the work to be performed cancause the load to transfer resulting in an off balance condition.• Make sure the load is centered on saddle/s before lifting.• Use proper saddle adjustments and optional adapters in orderto prevent over extension of the bridge’s ram travel.• Be sure setup is stable and secure before lifting.• Allow for a minimum 10” head and body clearance whenreleasing the load. Always position yourself well below thebridge’s saddles.• Be careful of pinch points.• Always lower load slowly and carefully.• Use only Norco saddles and adapters.• Do not alter or modify this bridge.SETUP1. Install the quick disconnect of your choice in the air valve at theend of the air/hydraulic pump.2. Back off the four allen socket set screws that secure themounting adapters to the bridge body. Lower the abovegroundor in-ground lift to its lowest position. Install the bridge on the liftby extending the flat-end or hook-end mounting brackets. Makesure the spring loaded rollers in the flat-end or hook-end mountingbrackets are resting on the appropriate surfaces on the lift. Consultthe lift manufacturer for the proper location of the bridge/s on the lift.NOTE: The bridge should not bottom out before the lift when thelift is lowered all the way down.3. Adjust the location of the bridge by making sure it is positionedat an equal distance from both sides of the lift. Once located, tightenthe allen socket set screws that secure the mounting adapters tothe bridge body.4.
