Replace any worn parts immediately.MAINTENANCEInclineFrameWheelTHE INFORMATION MODE/DEMO MODEThe console features an information mode that keepstrack of the total number of hours that the ellipticalcrosstrainer has been used and the total number ofmiles that the pedals have moved. The informationmode also allows you to switch the console from milesto kilometers. In addition, the information mode allowsyou to turn on and turn off the demo mode.To select the information mode, press the RESIS-TANCE button labeled “1” and the SELECT WORK-OUT button at the same time. The following informa-tion will be shown:The left LED display willshow the total numberof hours that the ellipti-cal crosstrainer hasbeen used. In addition,an “E” for English milesor an “M” for metric kilo-meters will appear in the display. Press the STARTPROGRAM button to change the unit of measurement,if desired.The right LED displaywill show the total num-ber of miles that thepedals have moved.IMPORTANT: Makesure that there is nota “d” in the right dis-play. If a “d” appears inthe display, the consoleis in the “demo” mode.This mode is intended to be used only when an ellipticalcrosstrainer is displayed in a store. When the consoleis in the demo mode, the power supply can be pluggedin and the displays and indicators on the console willautomatically light in a preset sequence, although thebuttons on the console will not operate. If a “d”appears in the right display when the informationmode is selected, press the SELECT WORKOUTbutton so the “d” disappears.To exit the information mode, press the RESISTANCEbutton labeled “1” and the SELECT WORKOUT buttonat the same time.
