SDS Meters 17Part 1009912E 2005 Nordson CorporationProximity Sensor AdjustmentSee Figure 15 and use the following procedure to adjusta proximity sensor.1. Remove the screws (2 or 7) securing thecover (1 or 6).2. Loosen the sensor nut (5 or 10).3. With the drive assembly fully retracted, adjust thesensors (3 or 8) to obtain a 0.04 in. (1mm) as shown.4. Tighten the sensor nut (5 or 10) securely.NOTEImproperly adjusting the vertical position ofthe proximity sensor may affect materialoutput performance.5. If necessary, loosen the screws (4 or 9) to adjust thevertical position of the proximity sensor.6.
