Failure to observe may resultin serious injury.Before operating the spray gun, perform the following tasks:1. Perform the necessary tasks to start up the fluid delivery system.2. Check all fluid and air lines for leaks.WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. Make sure that theelectrostatic power unit is turned off and the fluid supply hasbeen properly grounded. Failure to observe this warning mayresult in personal injury, death, or equipment damage.To set the fluid flow rate of the WM-1 spray gun, perform the followingsteps:1. See Figure 4-1. Disconnect the grounded air hose (2) from theconnector (3).2. Slide the trigger lock (4) all the way down.3. Perform the tasks necessary to set fluid pressure in the fluid deliverysystem. Use the lowest fluid pressure possible to obtain a satisfactory flowrate for your coating material. Set the fluid pressure to obtain a fluid stream which begins tobreak at 304.8−406.4 mm (12−16 in.) from the tip of the spraygun.4. Point the WM-1 spray gun into a graduated container. Pull thetrigger (5). Use a stop watch to establish the time needed to collectthe desired amount of fluid.2. Preparation3. Setting Flow Rate
