CRC200R USER GUIDE ISSUE 023-13 INSTALLATION3.1 Mounting the UnitThe CRC200 can be wall-mounted when used indoors orfixed inside a weatherproof housing for outdoor use.Identify a location convenient for cabling while ensuringthat the LCD screen and keypad are easily accessible forprogramming the unit and carrying out diagnostics. Alsoensure that the CRC200 is protected from excessivetemperatures and moisture.The mounting procedure is as follows:1. Release the front cover from the main unit bypressing the securing buttons at the base of theunit while you lift off the cover from the bottom(hinging the cover at the top).2. Carefully unplug the ribbon cable linking thecover to the main unit. Avoid pulling or bendingthe ribbon cable.3. Completely remove the front cover.4. Mount the unit on the mounting surface throughthe 2 keyhole slots and 2 mounting holes in theback plate. Use 4 appropriate screws or nuts/bolt(M4) according to the type of mountingsurface.5. After wiring the unit, support the coverwith one hand and carefully re-insert theend of the ribbon cable into its socket.Refit the cover by engaging the top ofthe cover with the top of the housingand hinging in the bottom of the coveruntil the securing buttons are fullyengaged in the housing.Note: If the unit is already mounted in aplastic enclosure with PSU, mount theenclosure as follows:There are 3 mounting holes in the backpanel of the enclosure with an optionalfourth hole at the bottom of the backpanel. Choose a location where there issufficient space to run cables into oneor more of the cable apertures(knockouts provided in top and bottom).Mount the unit on the planned mountingsurface use 4 appropriate screws ornuts/bolt (M4) according to the type ofmounting surface.KeyholeSlotsMountingHoles1 2 34 5 67 8 9P 0Retaining Buttons |
